E-business components. A Company serves the market through its core business processes. If the client wishes to serve the market through an e-business, those processes need to be revised and improved in order to allow this to occur. Additionally, the business operating systems may need to be revised and improved to support e-business processes. Likewise, the supporting internet technology infrastructure will need to be put in place to enable this e-business to service customers and clients through a web-site. Remote fulfillment must be developed for the e-business, if not already in place. Finally, Continuity of Business plans must be developed, tested, and the resources put in place in order to guarantee the continuity of the e-business in the event of systems or other disasters. |
